New Feature: About Us & Calendar

As you know, this new website for Spirit Life Church is still in the development stage. As we add new pages and features that you can use, we’ll post a new announcement to let you know about the new features or information!
We have two new additions to this website to announce to you today:
- About Page — A new About page has been added, briefly describing Spirit Life Ministries, as well as the overall ministries of Jerry & Ruthie Wickline. Check it out!
- Calendar — You may have noticed this already (it’s actually been up for a couple of weeks), but we have a nifty Calendar, containing all upcoming Spirit Life Ministries and Spirit Life Church events.
We’re especially pleased with the Calendar feature. Here are a few nifty things you can do with the calendar:
- View the calendar in different formats using the tabs in the upper-left. You can view one week at a time, or one month at a time. Or, click on “Agenda” to view a simple list of up-coming events.
- Use the right & left arrows in the upper left of the calendar to change months, weeks, etc. Or, click the down arrow next to the current date to select a different time frame. Click on the “Today” button to go back to the original view.
- Click the “Print” button to print out the calendar.
- Click on any calendar event to see more information about that event, including (a) extended description, (b) date & time, (c) address of location, and more.
- When viewing more information about any event, click on the “map” link (which should always be present as long as an address is listed for the event) — this will take you straight to a Google map of the location! And it gets even better…
- Once it takes you to the Google map of the location, a bubble will appear over the location. Click on the “To here” link, and fill in your address — Google will give you step-by-step directions from your location to the event!
- If you already use Google Calendar for your own calendar, click on the icon in the very bottom right to add this calendar to your own Google calendar.
Well, there you have it. That’s the new stuff for now. Links to both of these new items can be found in the navigation bar at the top (just below the Spirit Life Church graphic).

New Website!

Welcome to SpiritLifeChurchUSA.org, the website for Spirit Life Church in Wichita, KS!
As you can see, we’ve got a brand new website. We’re still working on getting all of the information up here, so check back soon, as we’ll be continuing to update this new website.
From here on out, this section will be where you will find important announcements, upcoming events, and anything else we may want to communicate to you.
Coming soon, we’ll have a way for you to subscribe to this section via email. That way, you’ll be able to receive an email every time we post an announcement in this section.
